I joined this production quite late in pre-production and to be honest was is a bit of a mess, no decisions were being made upstairs and the scale of what was being talked about was huge. Locations were Glasgow, Malta and Budapest with most of our stage work at Elstree Studios. We had a full size helicopter mounted from a crane with a manipulated hydraulic platform to rotate and change angle. The largest linear rain set-up I have ever seen with 7 overhead rain rigs in succession, all running at the same time. Glasgow was all about smashing up cars and trucks, what fun!! Working alongside legendary 2nd Unit director Simon Crane is a challenge but rewarding when you get it right.
