Stardust was a fantasy adventure directed by Matthew Vaughn, starring Charlie Cox, Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro.

My involvement was mainly with the second unit, working on practical effects including pyrotechnics, rigged props and atmospheric work.

We travelled up to Scotland for the location filming, working amongst some spectacular scenery. As with so many of the Scottish locations I’ve worked in over the years, the landscape did a lot of the work for the camera.

A relatively short job for me, but an enjoyable second-unit shoot in a beautiful part of the world.
