National Treasure: Book of Secrets was another project with Neil Corbould, on a big, fast-moving adventure film directed by Jon Turteltaub and starring Nicolas Cage.

I was involved with the main-unit Special Effects throughout the shoot, working across the larger practical rigs and action sequences, before moving over to supervise the Special Effects on second unit.

Second unit took us all around London, where we shot some great car-chase and action sequences. It was fast, practical work, coordinating vehicles, stunts and effects across busy locations and getting as much of the action as possible in camera.

For me, it was another important step up in responsibility — working with Neil on the main unit and then being trusted to take responsibility for the effects on second unit and run that side of the production myself.
