This is the movie that I incorporated Absolute Effects UK Limited. I worked as a Special Effects Supervisor looking after the additional photography on this fantasy adventure directed by Iain Softley, based on the bestselling novel by Cornelia Funke. Filmed across the UK and Italy, the production featured a wide range of practical effects—supporting a story where characters are brought to life from the pages of a book. Starring Brendan Fraser, Helen Mirren, and Paul Bettany, Inkheart was a richly visual film that relied on a strong blend of physical and digital effects.
